Results Saturday 24th October 2020
We had a top of the table clash to kick off the afternoon, and by full time a new Premier Division leader thanks to a Josh Laverick goal handing Wallington a 1-0 win over Newcastle Chemfica. A 9 goal thriller down Scotswood with Newcastle Blue Star hitting 6 against visitors Percy Main Amateurs, lifting them away from the bottom end of the table. Alnwick Town also claimed points to extend the gap near the bottom defeating North Shields Athletic 2-1. The final game of the day was the most one sided, Cullercoats smashing 5 past visitors Shankhouse.
Reeves Independent First Division
Felling Magpies had a day to forget with visitors Hebburn Town U23’s hitting 5 without reply, whilst Whitburn & Cleadon took the points with a close fought 3-2 win over visitors Prudhoe Youth Club.
We only had one game each in the Second & Third Division, Cramlington Town beating Gateshead Redheugh 1957 5-2, whilst AFC Newbiggin Central won 4-0 at home to Morpeth Town Reserves
