The weekend was dominated with the latter stages of the county FA cup competitions. In the Northumberland FA Benevolent Bowl AFC Killingworth will face Blyth Town in the final. AFC New Fordley were defeated 6-1 at Killingworth whilst Newcastle Chemfica went down to Blyth on penalties.

In the Minor Cup Quarter Finals Cramlington United also needed penalties to get past Bedlington FC, Hexham saw off Prudhoe Youth Club in a tight game finishing 2-1. Jesmond beat AFC Newbiggin 3-1 whilst in the final tie Haltwhistle Jubilee put 2 past Newcastle University A without reply.
