This was the weekend of cup upsets as both the George Dobbins & Bill Gardner reached the semi final stage.

Premier Division high fliers AFC Killingworth and AFC New Fordley had home advantage but both went out. Cullercoats being just one place behind Killingworth but having played 4 games more got a injury time winner thanks to Doddsworth, King opened the scoring however Lamb leveled not long after. The biggest shock came as 2nd Division Willington Quay Saints won 2-0. Connor & Foreman grabbing the goals.

The final will be on Thursday 23rd April at Heaton Stannington with a 7pm kick off.

In the Bill Gardner it was a final 4 all from the Premier Division. Leaders Newcastle Blue Star had home advantage against 7th placed Winlaton Vulcans, but went down in extra time thanks to goals from Baldwin, Best & Palmer. Anderson opened the scoring before half time for the home side before being sent off after 80 minutes. The last tie was 10th v 8th as Percy Main Amateurs hosted Newcastle Chemfica. Collins & Rowan efforts cancelled out by an own goal plus strikes from Stephenson & McKitterick.

The final will be on Thursday 30th April at Heaton Stannington with a 7pm kick off.
