Time for a Brock-Buster Performance

Well here we are in week 8 of the NFL season and Texans fans are waiting for the emergence of the 72 million dollar man. Brock Osweiler, who the Texans signed this off season, has yet to put a complete game that fans should be inspired about. While he has looked good in certain spots IE: the 4th quarter of the Colts game.  He mostly comes off looking completely incompetent. This is due to his very erratic accuracy, sub par footwork, and the no real progression of his throws and routes. Now i know that you are thinking the line is giving this man no time to throw and progress. While you are correct that is something he should understand. What makes the Greats like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady stand out is the ability to diagnose a blitz at the line and make appropriate route changes to get ball out quicker. I understand that he is not these men but he is being played like this and should be held to his financial standard. Yes this is his first year in Bill O'Brien's offense, yes he has teammates that he is still building chemistry with. With all that being said Houston fans can be very fickle and will turn on you in a heartbeat. If you don't believe me ask Matt Schuab. The point is with a high powered offense like the Lions coming into town the Texans might find themselves in a shootout. And the way the offense has been performing this might not be the best situation. But this is it this is the time and chance for Brock to claim this city. He has to do it this week at home before the bye. This has to be a complete game, it cannot be 3 quarters of crap then a clutch 4th. it cannot be 60 min of incompetent football in front of your home fans with two weeks until your next game. This has to be your statement game to show the fans of your city and your teammates you are the real deal.
