A Look at the Brooklyn Nets So Far
As a Celtics fan, the Nets are really starting to scare me. Not because they could be better than the Celtics, but in the sense that they are actually competing. Before the season started, I looked at this teams roster and thought they really might win about 15 games. Mostly due to the fact that Jeremy Lin is one of their two best players along with enormous human being/nerd Brooke Lopez. So far they are 4-7 in their first 11 games which obviously isn't great. Last year in their first 11 games the Nets were 2-9 which is even worse. Everyone can tell that those records aren't great but if anyone has actually watched the Nets play you can tell they are actually trying which I could definitely do without. To be honest I don't even know a ton about this organization anymore seeing how Billy King is gone and they don't have Lionel Hollins as their coach anymore. I need these Nets players to get back to their old, not good, bad selves that we all know and expect to be awful. Trevor Booker is having a career year, stop Trevor Booker, please just stop. Throw Celtics fans a bone here I'm begging you. Brook Lopez is playing his usual score and refuse to get rebounds game but he hasn't really missed a lot of games yet so Im sure he's due to miss like 14 games sooner or later. Jeremy Lin is playing well which Im about 90% positive will stop once people realize he pretty much only goes right. Someone should probably also think about sneaking into his house while he's sleeping and chop a bunch of his hair of because theres a pretty solid chance thats why he's playing well. Its scientifically proven that if you become a crazy hair guy and own the fact that you look ridiculous you get way better at whatever you do. Justin Hamilton (whoever that is) is playing well for the Nets so far and if he doesn't come back down to Earth I might quit the NBA. He's never played more than 41 games in an NBA season and wasn't in the league at all last year so don't be surprised if this guy misses every shot he takes starting in like a month. Moral of the story here is the Nets should do the Celtics a favor and stop playing well. If they end up going like 43-39 I might have a heart attack. Go home Nets, you're drunk.
