Kawhi Leonard Was No Doubt Made in a Lab

A couple days ago Kurt Helen tweeted this story out and just the headline got me thinking.  There is no doubt in my mind some scientists took a little bit of Tim Duncan's DNA and made Kawhi Leonard in a lab.  The two of them are so similar in how they act its scary.  Can't think of any other explanation for the Spurs having two guys who don't say a single word, aren't crazy assholes like so many stars in the league, and are so ridiculously good at the same time.  Leonard's defense is so good there's no way he's not the product of a lab experiment.  At one point last season, Leonard was holding opponents to the following averages; 11.9 points per game, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 2.0 turnovers, and 2.1 total free throw attempts a game.  He has had back-to-back season with a Defensive Rating of 96 (led the the league in 2014-15) and has won two Defensive Player of the Year awards in a row.  Never have I seen a guy that locks up so well he legit just runs up to anyone and takes the ball away.  Like literally just runs up to whoever has the ball, palms the ball with those freakish mitts he has for hands, and starts a fast break.

This man was bread in a lab to play basketball until he dies.  Class Greg Popovic if you ask me.
