I know It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, but it’s been kind of hard since the home team is playing the way they have been since coming off the bye. We come off the bye and lose to the Dolphins at home, which was supposed to be the game that allowed us to build momentum towards the remaining games of the season. After that, we travel to Foxborough for a Sunday Night “Super Bowl rematch“ against the Patriots where we nearly got shutout. We then travel to MetLife stadium and get our first win in about 5 weeks against the Jets. And lastly, yesterday we travel to Carolina and lose our very first division game against Cam Newton and the Panthers where we have an absurd amount of opportunities to takeover the game, but we just couldn’t get it right for whatever reason, and this includes a huge drop pass in the end zone by a wide Julio Jones that would’ve put us down only 3 points with plenty of time left in the 4th quarter. We’re currently sitting at 4-4 and 3rd in the division behind the Saints and Panthers. We‘re at the halfway point in the season and it still doesn’t seem like our new offensive coordinator, Steve Sarkisian knows how to call the right plays to get this offense going. Our schedule going forward is extremely tough, so it doesn’t get any easier for us. With the way we’ve been playing, there‘s no telling how this season will turn out.
