In some unexpected media news, ESPN First Take co-host Skip Bayless is leaving the network, as released in an ESPN Statement. And according to a report by Deadspin, Fox Sports is set to bring Bayless in. Skip is the latest in media talent to leave the network, with Bill Simmons leaving for HBO after his website Grantland got canned, and Mike Tirico reportedly leaving for NBC after his contract expires.

Skip Bayless has been without a doubt a polarizing voice in the media, with his outlandish support for his Dallas Cowboys along with Tom Brady, it cannot be denied that he brings in ratings. ESPN's morning show First Take is the #1 rated morning sports show in America. With Fox Sports getting underwhelming results in their release of supposed ESPN competitor FS1, the network has done all they can to bring in outspoken voices. They've already brought in former ESPN employees Colin Cowherd and Jason Whitlock, and Skip Bayless is just the next on the list.

According to the statement, Bayless's contract is set to expire in August, and his last appearance on First Take will be the day after the NBA Finals concludes.
