Lynx with tough loss vs. Sparks: Los Angeles wins WNBA Finals

The Minnesota Lynx took a heartbreaking 77-76 loss against the Los Angeles Sparks Thursday night. The Lynx won game 4 at Los Angeles to force a deciding game 5. Candace Parker lead the Sparks in game 5 with 28 pts, 12 rebounds and 3 steals. The Lynx put up a good fight, posing a comeback in the final minutes before being defeated in the final minute, the Lynx were leading 76-75 before Nneka Ogwumike posted 2 offensive rebounds before scoring the game winning shop. There was a controversial no-call on a shot clock violation on the Sparks, coach Cheryl Reeve was furious about the officiating throughout the series, but still congratulated Los Angeles on their victory.
