Should the Cubs DH Schwarber in the World Series?

The Chicago Cubs are considering using slugging outfielder/catcher Kyle Schwarber at designated hitter during the World Series in Cleveland. Schwarber only played two games during the 2016 season and tore both his ACL and LCL in his left knee. Schwarber played in the Arizona Fall League on Saturday to prepare for the possibility of playing DH Tuesday and Wednesday in Cleveland.

Cubs fans are excited and hopeful that Schwarber will play during the World Series after missing most of the 2016 season. The Cubs front office said Schwarber wouldn't play again this season, but here we are. If Schwarber is ready the Cubs will likely use him at DH, but will he be ready?

Schwarber hasn't played in a major league game since early April. Should the Cubs really throw in a player that hasn't seen MLB action since April in the most important games of the season? This isn't time for a sideshow, this is the World Series the Cubs need to be playing the players that are ready for in game action.

Schwarber is a strong impact bat that could potentially help the Cubs on offense. Although he missed basically the whole season and he'll be playing on the highest stage of them all against a strong Cleveland Indians pitching staff. As a sports fan I would love to see Schwarber DH against the Indians. I know it won't be an easy task and I don't believe the Cubs should do it unless they are 100% sure he is healthy and ready to play.
