Cavs sweep Pacers but questions remain

Despite a 4-0 sweep of the Indiana Pacers, LeBron James and his Cavs struggled vs the 42-40 7th seed. Giving up over 108 ppg, allowing 40% shooting from three and 12 made threes per game are major concerns that need to be fixed if the King wants to win another ring.

Neither of their second round opponents are major concerns, right? Well both teams present challenges for the Cavs. Both are better defensively than Indiana but like Indiana have multiple offensive weapons that pose threats to a struggling Cavs defense.

In the four games vs Indiana James averaged 43 minutes per game but will get plenty of rest as the Bucks-Raptors series will go at least 6 games. The minutes aren't a huge concern moving forward but rather the heavy lifting during those minutes. Both Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving have to more consistent and can't be off and on from game to game.

James talked about hitting the switch and he has hit it but he and his teammates have to step it up defensively over the next two series before what looks like a third straight Finals match up with the Warriors. They may be able to outscore their Eastern Conf opponents but outscoring the Warriors is not a game plan for success.
