I Learned 5 things form the NBA playoffs and here they are.

NBA: Playoffs-Portland Trail Blazers at Los Angeles Clippers

Hello Everybody, If there's somebody out there that wanted to ask me what did you think of the opening weekend of the NBA playoffs you know what I would said. I would have summed it up in one word, AND THAT IS WOW!!!!.

But I did learn 5 things form the opening weekend of the Playoffs and am going to tell you what they are.

NBA: Playoffs-Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers

NBA: Playoffs-Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers

NBA: Playoffs-Indiana Pacers at Cleveland Cavaliers

NBA: Playoffs-Utah Jazz at Los Angeles Clippers

1. The Utah Jazz are being overlooked bigtime.

After Rudy Gobert left the game against the LA Clippers in the first quarter with a knee injury everybody thought including my self the Jazz are finished they have lost their star player. But George Hill, Derrick Favors, Joe Johnson, Gordon Heyward, Boris Diaw, Joe Ingles and Shelvin Mack all steped up to the plate and took the LA Clippers all the way to the End. And after a 97-95 win on Saturday I think the Jazz have something they can p[rove and now they have something to play for. They can play for their injured teammate. Gobert has a MRI Scheduled and I hope it's not as bad as it looked. So my prayers go out to Rudy and the Utah Jazz could b e a team to watch going forward.

2. The Pacers only chance of upsetting the Cavaliers is Paul George defending LeBron James all the way to the end.

In Game 1 on Saturday Paul George had the hardest job of defending LeBron James. James Scored 32 points and had 13 assists. While Paul George had 29 points and 7 assists in game 1 as the Cavs beat the Pacers 109-108. George had the chance of a lifetime to beat the Cavs on their court but he missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer. But I will say this the Cavs might not be as strong as last year. They have got to play better if they are going to win. And it can't be the LeBron Show.

3. Don't take the Milwaukee Bucks Lightly.

The Bucks have a 7-foot monster in Giannis Antetokoumnpo. He can do a lot of Damage and the Toronto Raptors don't have an answer for his strength. Giannis had 28 points and 8 rebounds in the Bucks 97-83 win over the Raptors but the Raptors did have a star in Demar Derozan as he had 27 points {7-21 FG} and 8 rebounds. And let me tell you this now. This Might be fast series because the Bucks do have that 7-foot Monster. And Toronto Don't Feel Bad because I have a Boss where I work at who's 7-foot so I have gotten used to looking up to somebody. And he has a son who's 7'2 and plays at Michigan State.

4. Harden Is going to own Westbrook.

If game 1 between the Houston and Oklahoma City is going to be any indication of what I saw on Sunday Night then this is going to be a quick series.

James Harden had 37 points along with 7 rebound and 9 assists. Michael Westbrook only had 22 points along with 11 rebounds and 7 assists. So I will say it again Harden might have Westbrooks number if what I saw on Sunday Night is any Indication. So this might be a fast series if you think about it. The Rockets beat the Thunder 118-87. And it was a bad night for OKC. If they want to move on in the Playoffs they need to show up and now.

5. The Bulls can beat the Celtics on the Road.

Despite having 33 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 assists, Isaiah Thomas fell short against the Chicago Bulls. As the Bulls Beat the Boston Celtics 106-102 on Sunday. Thomas played his heart out and that came after a family Tragedy. Thomas lost his 22-year old sister Chyna in a car accident in their home state of Washington. So emotions were running high for Isaiah and his family dealing with this tragedy.

But the Bulls did what they had to do and that's play like they should have during the season. Their Star of the game was Jimmy Butler with 30 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists. So the Bulls proved to everybody that they can beat the One-seed in the east. And they can beat the Celtics on the Road. But can they beat The Celtics at home. We shall see.

So there you have the 5 thing I learned form the opening weekend of the NBA Playoffs and we still have a VERY LONG WAY TO GO. But if this weekend is any indication we could be in for some shockers during the playoffs and anything can happen.
