Magic Johnson Has Steeped Down as the President of the Los Angeles Lakers. Magic Announced that He was Stepping Down after The Lakers Lost to The Trial Blazers 104-101.
Magic Cited the Reason was he was not happy on How things were going with the Lakers. And Johnson Said he didn't tell Lakers Owner Jeanie Buss that he was stepping down because he didn't want to upset her at all, Or Possible talk Magic out of it.
Now Magic Himself, Said that the Decision With concerning to Fire Lakers Coach Luke Walton had nothing to do with this Decision But Reporters Did ask were you Ready to make the Decision On Luke Walton's Future with the Lakers...
Magic Did Say Yes He was Ready to make the Decision On Luke Walton's Future.
Everybody Knows that The Lakers are now Really in total Mess.
Now Here's my take and I mean what I say on this. Everybody Knows that the Lakers were once the Big Bad Team in the NBA When Magic Played And everybody including myself was thinking when they Brought Johnson in as President of the team he was going to turn the Lakers Franchise Around and make them Competitive Again.
What Has Happened, Let's See.
He Brought in Lonzo Ball, That Was a Total Joke Because His Daddy was being a Jerk.
Then the Lakers got Lebron James, James Has Played a Season Low 55 games do to Injury. And we don't know if he will paly Next Year Because LeBron has other intertest.
In 2017 the Lakers Went 35-47 Under Johnson's Leadership as President.
And this Season was Disappointing only going 37-45 and they will miss the Playoffs Again.
I will say this however, I think Magic Will Be Happy because Come On Magic was a Free Bird and he wants to do it his way and he felt Handcuffed while President of the Team.
The Magic Man realized that it was not the Same Old Showtime Lakers that he was used to but Times had changed and Magic Knew it, So with that Being said I wish Magic Johnson all the Best in his next adventure or if he decides to retire.
But Magic was fun to watch as a player although I Did not like his antics on the Court, he was a Great Player to watch and the Sky Hook was invented By the Magic Man. And all of the Battles with Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics or Isaiah Thomas and the Bad Boys Detroit Pistons Magic was Fun to watch and he usually got the Better End of the Deal in the End.
Magic Johnson were going to miss you Man and thank You for all of the Memories that You Gave Us Over the Years.
