This past week, undefeated boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather JR told reporters that he will be training for the next "6-8 Months" in preparation for a MMA fight. This has understandably led observers to believe that Conner Mcgregor will seemingly get his request for a rematch in the Octagon, after fairing better than expected but losing to Mayweather in the boxing ring.

This situation feels more like a publicity stunt than an actual fight, no matter how accomplished he may be in the Boxing ring, Floyd would be preparing for a fight against a man, more than a decade younger, as well as much more experienced in the style of fighting that the UFC is known for. Not many would be shocked if this turns out to be some sort of overplayed april fools joke. We know two things for sure about this fight, if Mayweather accepts this fight, there will have to be 100 million reasons for him to do so. Secondly we know that if this fight happens, it will likely be over within two minutes
