Cleveland Cavaliers raised championship banner in season opener.
This is the first ever championship for the Cleveland Cavaliers when they defeated the Golden State Warriors in NBA Finals Game 7 on June 19, 2016. They are the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-1 deficit.
The Cavaliers also received their championship rings during their season opener game against the New York Knicks in Quicken Loans Arena.
