It begun as a rumour but last night Ingram Jones, host of BaylorIC TV's Boxing Channel confirmed that December 2016 will be the last BaylorIC TV Broadcast. Jones who is no stranger to change believes that the time had come to "knock it on the head" and whilst he has enjoyed the journey from 2009-2016 the ride needs to come to an end. In 2009 BaylorIC as it was known then was shown on Sky TV's Community Channel as Ingram, then a cricket coach decided to run an academy to express his love for the sport and the expertise he has acquired through the years. In 2010 he was back on SKY TV and announced as a community champions winner which also included a short documentary shown on the community channel which examined the various cricket academies and success he was having across the south east of England.  The Chronic Fatigue which plagued Jones' life for 7 years stopped a promised boxing career which lead ingram travelling to the states and training in the famous "Warrriors"  Roy Jones Gym in Miami and then returning to the UK to train with former WBO Featheweight world champion Steve Robinson's trainer Ronnie Rush. In that gym was also former super featherweight world champion Barry Jones who was preparing for a comeback of his own. The two would later reunite several years later with Jones now covering boxing with BaylorIC TV Boxing Channel and talking to some of the biggest names in the world, breaking exclusive news and have a weekly interactive live show. More recently the show has evolved with the likes of Bo Bland, who has his own boxing channel "Truth and facts about Boxing" and Emily Pandelakis whom is a matchmaker and works in promotions in America with a roster of boxers whom pop on the show to talk about their careers.

As Jones explains in the video he feels he has met the targets and goals set out during the "dare" and now its time to move on and face new challenges and have new successes moving forward. Jones was hugely grateful to the supporters of BaylorIC TV through the years and believed that if it wasn't for the people behind the scenes that run BaylorIC none of what he has done would have been possible.   When asked about the future Jones believes that rest is important and time to reflect on what has been a success, what can be improved and what steps can be put in place to move forward effectively will be crucial.  He was also very keen to tell us that actually the negative feedback is great because its an extra push to keep going and that "If they were hating me then... I don't know how they will cope in 2017!" He winked, smiled and said  "This is going to be fun!"
