Stiverne "I'm going to Russia to lay out Alexander Povetkin!"

Bermane Stiverne (25-2-1) 21 Knockouts meets Alexander Povetkin (30-1) 22 Knockouts for the Interim WBC World Heavyweight title and the fight for the right to meet current WBC World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder. Bermane Stiverne took time out of his Las Vegas based training camp to talk exclusively to BaylorIC Worldwide Television's Ingram Jones to discuss the upcoming bout.  In this unedited, uncensored interview Stiverne addressed subject matters head on such as the "drug allegations" from VADA, his ideal fighting weight, his opponent Alexander Povetkin and the interview was going along well. It's when you mention the name Deontay Wilder and the fight the two had when Stiverne was champion, the smile disapears and there you can see the passion and determination Bermane has to regain the crown he lost to Wilder on points. Bermane when asked whether he was bitter about the decision rejected the notion, rather to take the full blame for what happened and remains convinced that the circumstances behind the the first fight would "never happen again!"

The former world champion is vastly misunderstood by fans and the media. He is often considered not talkative but again Stiverne met those comments with an equally good answer. "I know who is around me, for good intentions and not so good intentions!". " There are some people within the media who always write bad about me so why should I entertain them!"  Stiverne also talked about his short reign as world heavyweight champion and that things at the top aren't quite as they may seem with people trying to control his every movement. Stiverne also had some intresting things to say about Joseph Parker vs Andy Ruiz, both guys he has sparred.  He acutally revealed that Parker was one of his sparring partners. For this and much much more information included the fight that never happened between TYSON FURY and Bermane Stiverne in Canada when Fury fought out there. Bermane also pays tribute to the former unfied world champion and says he "Was THE man!"
