"I hope Puma don't produce condoms" says Shaqiri after Jersey fail

Puma SE became the latest sportswear company to suffer a major wardrobe malfunction when several jersey's tore on-field between France and Switzerland. Shaqiri even threw in an early contender for quote of the tournament which will surely live long in sports fan's memories.

The sportswear maker blamed a defective batch of material used in limited home jerseys for Switzerland. Alongside the Swiss, Puma also makes jerseys for Austria, Czech Republic, Italy and Slovakia all of which will be hoping there jerseys don't tear as well. Breel Embolo, Granit Xhaka, Admir Mehmedi and Blerim Dzemaili all were left red faced against France.

Gary Lineker also joked on Twitter “Swiss team’s Puma shirts tearing like paper. Adidas ball bursting. You can never rely on German efficiency!” The sportswear company was ridiculed massively on Twitter and Social Media but Puma spokesperson  said: “Our five Puma teams have previously had ten games at the European Championships and played without this issue occurring. Our product experts are currently investigating the jersey material. Once we know the cause, we will inform you.”

The incident took place during Switzerland's 0-0 draw with France in Lille and hopefully Puma have sorted out the bad batch of damaged fabric and they don't embarrass themselves further.
