England Fan starts JustGiving Page to send Sterling home from Euro 2016

A displeased England fan has set up a JustGiving webpage to raise donations to afford Raheem Sterling's plane ticket home from Euro 2016. The youngsters performance at the tournament so far have failed to live up to expectations and after 2 matched, English fans have had enough. The creator of the page, Aaron Bamford who created the campaign spoke for all fans when he said

"Let's face it we're all sick of seeing this guy mince down the wing and fail to deliver a half decent ball into the box. We'll bring the lad home and then we can all stop cringing every time a gust of wind knocks him over. Don't worry about being generous, we're of one mind. A penny each will cover it I imagine."

The page was actually set up as a joke with a target of £200. The donations are actually going to Douglas Macmillian Hospice.  The tournament was supposed to be where Sterling finally lived up to his potential and got his club career back on track. Since signing for Manchester City for £50million. After an initially bright start he fell of the gas and in the second half of the season was barely seen starting matches.

Sterling should be dropped based on current form to make place for match winners Jamie Vardy or Daniel Sturridge who are game winners and can finish of chances and deliver an end-product. Roy Hodgson looks set to do just that in the match against Slovakia.
