CFB Week 4, Pick 3.

I'm a little impressed by my 2-1 record last week, and I will never forgive Will Muschamp from keeping me undefeated. Oh; well, it's time to get back on the horse and take a ride on three of the best games of this weekend.

#16 TCU (3-0) @

#6 Oklahoma State (3-0)

3:30 ESPN

Oklahoma State -6.5

The first big test for both of these squads happens in Stillwater; although TCU had its hands full for a time last week with SMU. The Frogs had to rally from 19-7 down to win, 56-36. This game could be quarterback Kenny Hill's coming out party as it appears to be a classic Big 12 shootout. Hill has completed 75 percent of his passes so far.

Both of these defenses have played well though. TCU showed a strong pass rush against Arkansas. The Cowboy defense has held up well, but this will be its first true test. They have put up a score in each of their first three games.

Oklahoma State hasn't been close to being challenged this year. Quarterback, Mason Rudolph and the Cowboy passing machine racked up five touchdowns in the first half in their 59-21 demolition of Pitt. Four receivers tallied over 100 yards receiving.

Oklahoma State won last year; 31-6.

Prediction: Oklahoma State; 45-31.

#8 Michigan (3-0) @ Purdue (2-1)

4:00 FOX

Michigan -10

Michigan started the year in impressive fashion beating Florida, but was sluggish last week against Air Force. Red zone woes plagued the Wolverines resulting in five field goals. They will have to remedy that against this resurgent Purdue team in Lafayette.

New Purdue head coach; Jeff Brohm, is an early canidate for coach of the year. Purdue battled his alma mater; Louisville, in the opener and impressed in their 35-3 blowout of Missouri. The Boilermaker defense holding Missouri to just a field goal should have them be taken seriously.

This will be the biggest game in Ross Ade Stadium in a long time. I'm thinking an upset here, but...

Prediction: Michigan; 26-20.

#17 Mississippi State (3-0) @

#11 Georgia (3-0)

7:00 ESPN

Georgia -6.5

Mississippi State faces another stern test as it goes to Athens after their unexpected blowout of LSU. Watch for the connection between quarterback, Nick Fitzgerald and receiver, Joe Mixon. Fitzgerald is showing more production with his arm rather than his feet having seven touchdown passes.

Injured starting Georgia quarterback; Jacob Eason, has begun to practice but unlikely to start this week. His replacement; Jake Fromm has filled in admirably. He still has the backfield tandem of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.

There haven't been many battles of these Bulldogs in the past. These two schools have been members of the SEC since the 30's but this is only the 24th meeting. They have never played each other both ranked.

This is a difficult game to get a handle on.

Prediction: Georgia; 34-24
