The NBA playoffs are almost here and the Warriors are just second in the West at 57-21 behind the Houston Rockets. The Warriors now have Kevin Durant back from a rib injury and Klay Thompson from an injured right thumb but Steph Curry remains sidelined.

Curry has not not played since March 2nd when he injured his knee against the Atlanta Hawks, Curry has had a history of injuries especially with his ankles. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr believes that Curry will miss the first round of the playoffs and believes that as long as the Warriors have Durant, Thompson, and Draymond Geen, they can get passed round 1 without Steph.

Curry says he’s confident but the Warriors are a much better team with him on floor. Curry averaged about 26.4 PTS, 5.1 REB, and 6.1 AST this season. He is a five time all star, two time MVP, and a two time NBA Champion. Who many consider to be the greatest shooter in NBA history.

Right now the Houston Rockets are the top seed of the west and many consider them the favorites, James Harden is looking like a lock for MVP and the Warriors have found another team that is almost as a deadly shooting team as they are.

But if the Warriors can get Curry back around the second round of the playoffs and the whole Warriors team is healthy, the Warriors will be the favorites to win the west and the favorites to repeat as NBA champions.
