Why the Pats can still win the Super Bowl

BOSTON, MA- The New England Patriots are 12-3. However, they have lost 2 out of their last 4 games. They are the most doubted 12-3 team in NFL history. However my friends, do not lose faith in this Patriots team. Every year it's the same narrative. The Patriots lose one or two games they probably shouldn't have lost and in come the haters. Making absurd statements like "Toms too old" or "He's not good anymore".

Last year, the Pats went to Heinz Field in week 15 and lost 17-10. The week before, the Miami miracle took place. The Pats fell to 9-5 after those two games and what do all the haters say? That its all over. And what happened that year? The Patriots, who were severe underdogs, similar to the underdogs they are now, went into KC and upset the Chiefs.

If you are saying its all over, riddle me this. If Tom and Bill have done this in the past (being underdogs and pulling off huge upsets in the postseason) What is so different about this year? Yes, I get the Ravens beat up the Pats pretty good on November 3rd, but how do we know that a young quarterback (Lamar Jackson) is gonna be able to outsmart the genius minds of Bill and Tom in the postseason. I understand teams like Kansas City and Baltimore are amazing on paper, and they are. Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson are both amazing young quarterbacks with great talent around them. But the Patriots have the greatest coach-quarterback duo of all time. Their smart. They don't mess around. They will beat you strategically. Something Kansas City and Baltimore can not do.

Am I saying it's definitely going to happen, no. There is a very good chance the Patriots could lose to the Chiefs in the divisional round or Baltimore in the AFC Championship game, or even whichever team comes out of the NFC. But do not count them out.

Go Pats.
