to shift over to the SEC East to have a look at Florida and what to possibly expect from first year head coach Dan Mullen, and now we shall move north so to speak to a coach who is now becoming a veteran of sorts in Athens. We will be having  a look at the defending SEC and Rose Bowl Champions, the Georgia Bulldogs as Jake Fromm will now officially be under center and have a new starting backfield behind him. The first half may or may not be much of a challenge.

Two of the first three games are at home and both are non-conference, starting with Austin Peay and Middle Tennessee State. The second game in the middle, starts off the SEC portion of the schedule going on the road against South Carolina. The first two games pitting Kirby Smart and Will Muschamp has been a tight one, with Georgia winning the first two since they both changed head coaches. Since both know each other by now, the third matchup may be tighter.

The first two conference as a matter of fact will start on the road starting with the Gamecocks and two weeks later at Missouri. After losing to Georgia last season, this is when Barry Odom scrapped everything and ran off six wins in a row. This game could serve Odom's fate depending on how they perform. From Missouri to Auburn, there are seven consecutive SEC games with their new West team LSU on the schedule.

Although they got their revenge on Auburn in the SEC Championship Game, it could be much sweeter sealing the deal at home. In the middle of the schedule, it is their annual rivalry game with Florida now under Dan Mullen, which is now considered totally unpredictable. Tennessee at home under Jeremy Pruitt will also be unpredictable with Vanderbilt next. Like Odom, Derek Mason's job could hang in the balance after a year by year improvement and finishing 5-7 losing five in a row.

The rest is at Kentucky and closing out the remaining non-conference schedule hosting UMass and archrival Georgia Tech. The entire run to the SEC Championship and the CFB Playoff won't look to be exactly bumpy, but unpredictable as with Florida and Tennessee. It could possibly be a rematch with either Alabama or Auburn in Atlanta or maybe even out west in Santa Clara.
