5 Major Bubble Teams to Keep Your Eye On

Michigan State- Trend: Mostly up. The Spartans are 14-9 and 5th in the Big 10 currently. They have lost three of their last five, but have won their last two. The injury that kept Miles Bridges out for a while did not help at all. This a team that is hard to judge, as many Tom Izzo squads are. They seem to be safely in at the moment and have a decently favorable schedule down the stretch. Tonight's game in Ann Arbor will be a big game for this team.

Quality Wins: MINN (twice), NW. Bad Losses: NE, PSU

Indiana- Trend: Mostly down. The Hoosiers have faced much adversity due to the injuries of OG Anunoby and James Blackmon Jr. They are 15-9 and 7th in the Big 10. When Indiana was healthy at the beginning of the season, there was no doubt they could compete with the big boys, but they have struggled down the stretch without PG leadership in James Blackmon Jr. Four of their last five games will be on the road. It will be quite the battle to get into the Tournament, but as of right now they're hanging onto a bid.

Quality Wins: KU, UNC, MSU. Bad Losses: IPFW, NEB

Syracuse- Trend: Up. The Orange have been on a tear as of late. They've won four straight and are in play tonight against Clemson. They've been getting scoring from all over as it seems like it's been a different guy that's stepped up each night. John Gillon has turned into a scary good guard and Tyler Lydon has picked up his game. There is still work to do because of their poor start this year as they are currently out, but gaining speed.

Quality Wins: FSU, UVA. Bad Losses: SJU, BC

Georgetown- Trend: Mostly up. The Hoyas have clawed back into contention for a bid even with a 13-11 record. They've won three of their last four, including two wins over top 25 squads. Rodney Pryor and LJ Peak lead this definitely talented squad into a huge opportunity tonight @Nova. For now, G'Town is out, but their stock is trending upward. Watch out, they're talented.

Quality Wins: UO, Cuse, Creighton, Butler. Bad Losses: Arkansas St

Tennessee- Trend: Mostly up. The Volunteers have won four of their last five, including a huge win over Kentucky. This team is 13-10 and 6th in the SEC, but has held their own. They're led by their guard, Robert Hubbs, but have much work to do as they are currently on the outside looking in. They have big opportunities to build their resume at UK and at USC.

Quality Wins: UK. Bad Losses: Chattanooga
