Eagles defeat Vikings

The undefeated Vikings came to Philadelphia looking to continue their dominant ways. While the Eagles needed to get back on track after losing the last two games. But early on, it was obvious things were not going as planned for either team as both teams traded turnovers on five consecutive possessions in the first quarter.

The Vikings found a rhythm and went 50 yards in 12 plays to open the scoring with a 50 yard field goal. Philly quickly answered with a 98 yard kickoff return for a touchdown, and that was punctuated with a two-point conversion run by Wentz.  After that, the Philly defense went to work and constantly harassed their former teammate Bradford. And the Eagle offense put together a couple nice drives against the strong Minnesota defense. This allowed Philly to take a 21-3 lead, until Bradford found Patterson in the end zone with under a minute left.

Minnesota is no longer undefeated, and the Eagles exposed their offensive line problems. Philly moves to 4-2 heading into a prime time showdown with the first place (and hated division rival) Dallas Cowboys.
