CANELO VS GOLOVKIN

So it's 3 days after the big showdown between Saul Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Glolovkin and what a showdown it was. Since the first bell ring we got action from the start to finish. So we all know the fight ended in a Draw and we all know the bad story that came from the fight that one judge Adelaide Byrd Female official scored a contraversl Score She had Canelo winning the fight to 118/11O which she has now been suspended by the NSAC. This is the scorecard below

So i watched the fight and i had the fight a Draw i had it 116/116 and i had 3 rounds tied at 10/10 and i could have given them to Canelo. So lets get into the fight Canelo looked real sharp starting off landing the bigger punches and better movement in where Glolovkin controlled the ring a bit better putting Canelo on the back foot. but when Canelo was on the backfooth his work just seemed so good and clean were his shots were landing on Golovkin. the first could have went to both men but Canelo just seemed to take it with his ferocious shots Canelo took the next 3 rounds. Come the fifth round Golovkin seemed to use his Jab more and end the round better which for me tied the round. As the rounds went on Canelo tired out with GGG taking control of the fight but Canelo seemed to be landing the bigger punches even when he was on the ropes in which Canelo likes to do a lot. As the rounds went on we saw a great fight . When it came to the end of every round on the last six rounds they were very hard score as they were so close as both men could have taken any round. i tied The fifth sixth seventh and twelfth round a 10/10 round as where Canelo was landing bigger punches and GGG was controlling the ring using his Jab. The last round Canelo came guns blazing landing good shots again and then tired and GGG took advantage again ending the round in a draw for me.

So as the bell ring at the final round both men were certain they won. When we heard Bruce Buffer called the scorecards Out Dave Moretti had it 113 to 115 Golovkin. Don Trella had it 114 to 114 to both men and than when the boxing world fell into shock we heard buffer Calling out Adelaide Byrd's scorecard 118 110 Canelo and thats when Oscar del hoya was accused of paying a judge under the table but hold on. Every judge scores a fight different one judge could score it for a fighter that is in control of the ring another judge could score it to a fighter because he landed the more noticeable shots and another judge could score it because the fighter was using his jab to perfection . So for me that nonsense no judge was payed under the table. i do think Byrd was way off with the scorecard but i can see where she could have given the rounds to Canelo and has i say over and over again Canelo punches were there in every round even when he was tired he was landing hard solid clean punches.

Lets not forget the Daniel Jacobs fight against Gennady Golovkin in the bout in New York where a lot of people thought Jacobs won. did we see the judges get investigated in that because Jacobs did win that fight but Judges score it for different reasons.

We see this every time in boxing with scorecards one sided and people jump to conclusions in where the promoter gets the stick because of the judges scorecard . we should be tanking Oscar Del Hoya for giving us such as spectacle. and we will see this fight again.

My personal opinion was the fight was a draw and both fighters did a Incredible Job and did themselves Proud . I scored it a draw but if i had to pick a winner it would have been Canelo for me. But for now we wait until Saul Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin II and in promises to be another fight to go down in the history books of our great sport .
