Top 5 Picks
Washington +4.5
It’s all on Kirk’s shoulders. The weapons are there to succeed. I think getting 4 and the hook is enough against a Giants team who seems to be a tad overrated. Their only touchdown last week came on a blocked field goal return. The Skins’ D isn’t good, but I’d rate it above the atrocious Saints. Britt McHenry reported Norman will follow OBJ around all game, so that should be fun. Skins get on the board in the win column 23-20.
Buffalo +3.5
When you first look at this line, it seems very weird. The public is all over Arizona and will continue to be until the game kicks off. The more I looked into it, the line makes sense. First road game for Arizona and it’s a 1:00pm kickoff on the East coast. Look for a sloppy game and Palmer to throw his first INT’s of the season, give me Bills mafia. Bills 24-20
Tennessee/Oakland Over 47
Tennessee has been in a couple low scoring games so far this season, but they haven’t faced a defense like the Raiders yet. Titans will score in bunches at home; Raiders have the firepower to keep up. Titans 34-28 OT
Seattle -9
PFF rated the Niners the worst offensive line in football. I think this line should be around 13, so getting it fewer than 10 is huge. Closer to kickoff I see this line settling at 10-10.5. I think we see one of those Home Seattle beat down games. Hawks 27-7
New Orleans -3
Primetime in the Super Dome against a division rival, I’ll back the Saints. I normally rock against the public in spots like these, but it’s too early to tell. Last week it looked as if the Eagles were going to be the public play, so I locked in Bears and it bit me in the ass.
