I want you guys to meet Molly. She wrote me an email a while ago back and I just had to meet her. When you have such a crazy schedule like mine, always on the go, it's really hard to take the time to do things like write this blog post for instance or search through the hundreds of messages that I get frequently. But then there are days when I do take the time and I come across a message like this:
So I just had to do this:
I do what I can when I can. I wish I had the availability to meet with the millions that are affected with the common skin condition called Alopecia Areata. But it's not realistic. So again, I do what I can when I can. I'm glad I have a platform like this (on Sportsblog.com) and my social media channels to broadcast stories like this. Being able to create awareness is just one step forward in making things better. If I'm able to make any difference in just one person's life...it is all worth it to me. My life has purpose as we all individually have our own calling. But I'm thankful that I have found my calling.
Remember, you have alopecia, alopecia DOES NOT have you.
Stay strong, stay confident.
