For the past month, speculation has surround Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson’s future.

Will the Redskins re-sign him? Who are the teams that could be interested in signing the electric pass-catcher?

The Eagles should be interested. He is exactly what they need. Someone to stretch the field and give Carson Wentz someone to throw the deep ball. Also, Jackson would open up the field for guys like Jordan Matthews and Zach Ertz.

Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham said that he thinks Jackson will come back.

According to Matt Lombardo of NJ.com, Graham said “He’s like, ‘B.G. you know I’ll be back, man.”

With that being said, the Eagles should only bring back Jackson if the price is right.

He will turn 31 late next season. A guy over 30 who’s game relies on speed is concerning.

But if you could get him on a two-year deal with an option on a third year that would be okay.

Let’s not forget that not just the Eagles are going to be in the market for him. Many teams could use a deep threat like Jackson and would also have more money than the Eagles to spend.

It sounds like Jackson really wants to come back (he should have never left in the first place), and it would be great to see him “come home.”
