Big Ben Keeps Steelers on Stairway to Seven

NFL: AFC Championship-Pittsburgh Steelers at New England Patriots

Steeler Nation can finally breathe again as Ben Roethlisberger has officially announced that he will be be returning for his 14th season after flirting with retirement. This did not come as a shock to many, because this seems to be Big Ben's way of handling things. Everyone knows that as long as there's any glimmer of hope for a Super Bowl appearance, Roethlisberger will be pulling on a Steelers jersey on Sundays. In his announcement to the team and their fans, he vowed to bring his very best this season, keeping the Steelers hopes of a 7th Lombardi trophy alive. The Steelers will undoubtedly begin looking for their next long-term QB in this years draft, but for now, it's business as usual... and it is indeed "boomin'." With the return of Big Ben, the imminent reinstatement of WR Martavis Bryant, who missed the entirety of last season, the Killer B's (Roethlisberger, Bell, Brown, and now Bryant) will once again provide the Steelers with enough offensive firepower to leave even the best defenses putting in overtime in the film room. The 2017 season looks to be another promising year for the black&gold, a team looking to establish themselves as the team to beat in the AFC.
