Hey my fellow NBA DFS contestants. DFS guru CD Hill is here to give you my suggested DraftKings/FanDuel NBA Sleeper Picks. These picks will be from NBA games that take place on Friday, December 30th, 2016 & that start between the following times: 7:00 PM EST - 7:30 PM EST (only on DraftKings) and 8:00 PM EST - 10:30 PM EST (on both DraftKings and FanDuel). If any of my picks help your lineups today, be sure to let me know in the comments on my Twitter page @cdhill81 & as always, be sure to keep track of whether or not the players you plan on going with today are expected to suit up in their contests. SF/PF (only on DK) - Otto Porter (BKN@WAS) - (FPPG on DK: 29.9 & DK Salary: $6,100):
Know that Otto Porter will receive a slight bump in usage if Bradley Beal sits today, but even if Beal doesn't he looks to be a solid play either way. Porter's three-point shot has continued to go down this season (he's clearly improved his three-point shot this year) and he's been scoring points at a very high rate of late averaging 24 PTS per contest in his last three games and he's even pulled down 13 boards in his contest from Monday against the Bucks. He faces a Nets team next that does very poorly at minimizing opposing forwards' FPPG totals. This pick has high upside and comes in at a very reasonable price tag on DraftKings right now.
SF/PF - Wilson Chandler (PHI@DEN) - (FPPG on DK: 30.1, FD: 28 & DK Salary: $5,800, FD: $5,700):
Wilson Chandler has been very hit or miss lately in four out of his last seven games, but when he's been a hit he's sported 34.9 FPPG in that stretch of play in large part due to his contributions in the scoring (three-pointers included) and rebounding departments. He goes up against a Philly team next that should greatly enhance his chances of doing well later this evening since their defense has done a very bad job at keeping opposing forwards' FPPG down, particularly against small forwards. Chandler is a value play I recommend going with in all GPP/tourny league play later today on DraftKings and FanDuel.
SG/SF (only on DK) - Josh Richardson (MIA@BOS) - (FPPG on DK: 21.1 & DK Salary: $5,000):
At this time, Josh Richardson comes in as a very nice cheap buy on DraftKings thanks to his increase in minutes played and shot attempts since mid-December. He is coming off of back-to-back 20+ point games and managed to knock down five three's in total in that time too (in both contests, he averaged at least 30 FPPG on DK). He faces a Boston team next that's allowed the sixth most FPPG to opposing shooting guards this year on DK, so he looks to be a solid bet at continuing from where he left off on Thursday against Charlotte. Richardson is my Bargain Bin Player of the Day.
