QB: Derek Carr: (6,100) Carr’s game isn’t always pretty, but he has been getting done this year averaging 20.1 DraftKings points a game. He is coming off a solid game against a Texans defense that bothered him at times on Monday night, throwing for 295 yards, three touchdowns, and a pick. (22.6 DraftKings points) Carr this season has had plenty of time to work in the pocket behind this very impressive offensive line that ranks third in The NFL according to Pro Football Focus. The Raiders are a completely different team this year and are looking for their ninth win of the season this week at home against The Panthers. (25th vs QBs)

Both these defenses have been shaky this season and this game could be a very high scoring affair, with Vegas pegging this game with a 49.5 point total. (3rd highest of Week 12) Just like with Cousins last week, this a great spot for Carr to produce, in a high scoring and competitive game, with a tight spread of 3.5 points. He is very reasonably priced at $6,100, and is the QB I will be rostering the most in Week 12.

RB: Melvin Gordon: (7,000) Gordon has been an absolute beast lately, averaging 28.9 DraftKings points per game the last month. He has become a true featured back for The Chargers, averaging a ridiculous 30 touches in his last four games. Also with Danny Woodhead out, Gordon never misses a snap in the redzone, leading the league with 59 redzone touches. He should continue to see heavy volume this week in nice matchup against The Texans, who have really struggled lately against RBs.

Since Week 8, The Texans are allowing an average of just over 30 DraftKings points a game to opposing backfields. In these games they have had major issues with RBs who can also receive, allowing a very high 8.3 catches a game. Gordon is such a safe play, with upside. based on the work load that he sees on a weekly basis. With The Chargers coming off their bye week, Gordon should be fresh, and ready to dominate this Texans defense this week.

WR: Tyler Boyd: (4,000) Star WR A.J. Green suffered a "strained" hamstring injury in only the second play of last week’s game, and is expected to miss the next few weeks if not the rest of the season. After Green exited the game, Boyd saw an expanded role in The Bengals offense, finishing with six receptions on eight targets for 54 yards and a TD.

The rookie out of Pittsburgh was one of my favorite late round sleeper picks in seasonal drafts this summer, after his impressive preseason. He is a very gifted athlete and in my opinion is the best WR left on The Bengal roster with Green out. Boyd should be very involved again this week against The Ravens who rank 23rd vs WRs. He should see plenty of targets and is an exceptional play in DraftKings full PPR scoring system. His $4,000 price tag doesn’t reflect his new role in this offense, and Boyd is core value play for me this Sunday.

TE: Gary Barnidge: (3,600) Barnidge has been a shadow of himself, with rookie Cody Kessler throwing him passes for the last four games. But Kessler will be out this week after suffering his second concussion of the year and may be shut down for the rest of the season. After Kessler went down, Barnidge’s old friend Josh McCown filled in for the rookie at QB, and threw him his first TD pass of the season late in the game. With Kessler out, McCown is now The Browns starting QB, which is great news for the TE. Even though the two players haven’t been great on the field together this season in McCown’s two starts, Barnidge has always produced better numbers with the veteran QB under center.

In 2015 the two players played together in eight games and Barnidge was a beast catching a total of 43 passes for 626 yards and six TDs. He gets a nice chance to look like the player we know he is capable of being this week against The Giants, who have struggled lately against TEs, allowing an average of 103 yards per game since Week 8. He should see a bunch of targets against this defense, with The Browns being a 6.5 point underdog in this game. I’m not expecting Barnidge to explode, but he should definitely return value at his cheap $3,600 price tag in this matchup.

Also Consider:

QB: Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Colin Kaepernick, Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan, and Cam Newton.

RB: David Johnson, Chris Ivory, Jay Ajayi, Wendell Smallwood, Rashad Jennings, Thomas Rawls (if active), Lataivus Murray, and Jeremy Hill.

WR: Amari Cooper, Mike Evans, Larry Fitzgerald, Odell Beckham Jr., Doug Baldwin, Julian Edelman , Brandin Cooks, and Rishard Matthews.

TE: Delanie Walker, Martellus Bennett (only if Gronk is out), Coby Fleener, Antonio Gates, and Travis Kelce.

D: Titans, Saints, Bills, Falcons, and Patriots.
