NFC's Best?

The Cowboys were in a precarious situation heading into their game Sunday.  Confidence was at a high with a 6 game winning streak intact and a looming date next week at Pittsburgh against the Steelers.  So the game on Sunday in Cleveland was the ultimate trap game.  The Browns were winless and everyone was expecting Dallas to win.  So that's what made their 35-10 rout against the Browns that much more impressive.   Sometimes teams play down to the competition and it spells a recipe for the disaster.  The 'Boys didn't fall victim to that and rode that recipe that has them at 7-1 so far and leading the NFC.  Dak Prescott was impressive once again, completing 21 of 27 for 247 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Ezekiel Elliott was his usual self, rushing for 92 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 18 carries and the defense, which has definitely overachieved, only allowed 10 points and recorded 4 sacks.  They aren't turning the ball over, they are protecting the quarterback, giving running lanes to their backs and their defense has been very opportunistic.  Add it all up and you have a team that is dangerous and is continuing to get better.  Also, the offense chugged along even with Dez Bryant catching exactly 1 pass yesterday.   Knowing that the Cowboys offense can hum along even with a lot of production from Bryant only bodes well in the future.   Who would have thought halfway through the season that the 'Boys would have the same record as the New England Patriots.   Let me ask one more question, how bout them Cowboys?
