The Young Prince vs The King

Last night we saw the first matchup between Lonzo Ball and LeBron James. As Lebron continues to play out of this world in what is his 15th season, we were treated to Lonzo and for the most part he didn’t disappoint. The rookie almost had a triple double with 13 points, 11 assists and 8 rebounds. He is continuing to grow as a player and it seems that despite all the pressure he is under, you can see the growth. Thursday night you saw what Lonzo aspired to be. LeBron had the 59th triple double of his career with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists. After the game, LeBron seemed to give some encouraging words to Lonzo. I believe Lonzo has handled the pressure admirably and has continued to work hard and play hard. It was a great atmosphere in the ‘land last night. We got a glimpse of the future, but the King showed that he’s not ready to leave the throne anytime soon.
