To Boat or Not to Boat, that is the question

I'm of the mindset what a player does on his off time is his prerogative.  I think the media has blown this whole New York Giants boat trip way out of proportion.  It had absolutely no impact on anything that happened in the Giants 38-13 loss to the Packers Sunday.  If the Miami Dolphins players were do the same thing at the same time, there would have been probably no mention about it in the media.  I guess the media had a problem that players had to fly to get to Miami instead of the players actually being on the boat.  Obviously, players do have bad games and it's unfortunate that the media overlooks that fact and want to blame the boat trip.  When players lose games and they didn't go on a boat trip and stayed in the area on their off day, we don't ostracize them, but it's ok to find a way out to blame the players due to them getting away from the area.  How did that affect what happened in Green Bay?  These players didn't get in trouble, they came back and were engaged for a full week of practice and prepared for the game as they should have.  Just live with it, they played a bad game and it had nothing to do with a boat trip, vacation or anything else.
