I'm Convinced. McDavid Is Ready For The Captain's Role

I guess I was wrong about Edmonton Oiler's sophomore, Connor McDavid being named team captain last week.

This kid is definitely ready to take on the leadership role.

Just two games into the 2016-17 season, McDavid has six points.  Three goals, three assists.

Not to mention that the Oilers have two wins.

Okay.  The Oilers were playing the Calgary Flames, but a win is a win.

There's no question that McDavid is an absolutely skilled hockey player.

McDavid  tied the game 1-1 last night with a beautiful goal, where he practically undressed Flame's net minder, Brian Elliott.  Check out this video.

McDavid ended the game with a goal and two assists.

I believe there's more goals to come from McDavid this season if he stays healthy.  I also feel McDavid probably going to take the Oilers to the promise land this year.  The NHL playoffs.
