NHL Players Quite Possibility Are Going To Stay Home During The Next Olympics

There's a good possibility that NHL players won't be going to Pyeongchang, Korea in 2018.

The National Hockey League has until January 15, 2017 to reach an agreement with the International Olympic Committee to allow their (the NHL's) players to play in the 2018 Olympics.

It seems to me I've heard this before.

Oh yeah.  It was just before the 2014 Olympics in Russia.

The good news for hockey fans  is that the NHL is planning to visit Pyeongchang sometime this month.

It is obvious to me that the league wants to see the host city before making a decision.

The two reported issues that probably make the NHL decide not to send players to the next Olympics are travel costs and insurance.
