History For Markus Howard and Shakyla Hill

Markus Howard was on fire tonight as Marquette defeated Providence in overtime. Howard finished with 52 points, 2 assists, 2 steals and a rebound. He was 17/29 (58%) from the field, 11/19 (57%) from the three-point line and 7/7 (100%) from the free-throw line. By scoring 52 points tonight Howard tied for the most points in a single game in Big East history.

Shaklya Hill had a quadruple-double tonight as Grambling defeated Alabama State. Hill finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 10 steals. Hill was 6/11 (54%) from the field, 1/1 (100%) from the three-point line and 2/2 (100%) from the free-throw line. Her quadruple-double is the 4th ever in Division I Women’s Basketball and it’s the first in 25 years.
