Russell Westbrook vs James Harden

Last night we seen the two best point guards and guards go at each other once again. It was another remarkable game between the two talents.

Russell Westbrook is putting up crazy numbers and is having a historical season. It seem like every big game Westbrook has OKC loses though. His stats be impressive, but he's not making others better. Yes, he's averaging a triple-double 31 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists, but OKC is 7th in the Western Conference. Meaning he may average a triple-double the first since Oscar Robertson aka The Big O unfortunately though he's also leading the league in shot attempts with 897. DeMar DeRozan is 2nd with 740. So far this season Westbrook has attempted 44, 35 and 34 shot attempts in games. Westbrook is a very special talent a top-5 player in the NBA for sure he's just not efficient. We can't just fall in love with numbers. We have to actually watch the games also.

Now here's why I believe James Harden is the best point guard and best guard in the NBA. James Harden is making his team better and still putting up impressive numbers. With the ball more in his hands this season he's so much more efficient. Harden is averaging 28 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists. He's leading the league in assists and have the Rockets as a legit threat to the Warriors and Spurs in the Western Conference. The Rockets are 3rd in the West and one of the best teams in the NBA because of James Harden who should win the MVP.
