?Everyone, when Lovie Smith became the coach, said the only thing he may struggle with is recruiting. He hasn't struggled so far. He already has 12 commits and and he started later since he was hired late. According to CBS, Illinois 2017 recruiting class is ranked #46 in all of college football, with an average of 3.00 stars. Lovie just landed a 2* running back that is poised to get ranked up. Many people saying he could be a 3* by the end of the season. He had 29 total touchdowns in his junior year, and his senior year he already has 15 total touchdowns. It is fantastic grab for Lovie and the Illini.
