Fanduel Daily Fantasy Football Lineup Picks (10/6/16-10/10/16): NFL DFS Advice

Aaron Rodgers – The Packers had an early bye last week, one week after Rodgers and the Packers offense were humming against the Lions to the tune of four touchdowns, two of them to Jordy Nelson. Nelson has looked better each week and appears to be getting into pre-injury form. Eddie Lacy had his best game of the season against the Lions, potentially restoring a little respect for the Packer play action. Rodgers will have a monster Sunday night at home against the Giants.

Tom Brady – Brady is returning from a four game suspension to a plus-plus matchup against the Browns. Brady has been able to practice and workout with the team while serving his suspension, and should immediately inject life into the struggling Patriots passing game. Gronkowski’s hamstring issue may be worse than originally thought, but Brady will feast on Sunday. Hogan and Edelman get bumps with his return.

Derek Carr – Pro Football Focus has Carr ranked as the number one overall QB through the first four weeks of the season. He’s thrown 9 touchdowns and

just one interception over that span and is a no-doubt starter this week at home against San Diego. The Chargers lost shutdown corner Jason Verrett for the year with an ACL injury. Carr, Crabtree and Cooper should all produce Sunday.

Ryan Fitzpatrick – Fitzpatrick has thrown nine interceptions over the last two games and his ownership will be extremely low. The Jets faced the Chiefs and the Seahawks in those two weeks, so I expect him to get back to his week 1-2 level where Fitzpatrick threw for 550+ and three touchdowns. He’s a GPP option only.

Carson Wentz – Wentz and the Eagles are coming off their bye and travel to Detroit to take on the Lions. Wentz has thrown for 750 yards and 5 touchdowns in his first 3 games as a professional and hasn’t thrown an interception in his young career. The Lions rank near the bottom of the league against the pass and Sunday’s contest could turn into a shootout. Get Wentz into your lineups.

Jameis Winston – Carolina’s secondary was exposed Sunday as Julio torched them for 300 yards and Matt Ryan went off for 500. I don’t expect this type of output from Winston, but expect a big-time bounce-back for the 2nd year Buccaneers QB.

Brian Hoyer – Since taking over for the injured Jay Cutler, Hoyer has lit it up for 619 yards and 4 touchdowns over the last 2 games. Those are QB1 numbers and Hoyer has a legitimate shot at keeping the starting job even when Cutler returns. The Bears travel to Indianapolis to take on the Swiss-cheese defense of the Colts. Hoyer is playable in any format this weekend.
