England beat the Aussies in the 3rd ODI

Hi sports fans! This is another post from your blogger Hari. Today I will be writing about Englands ODI win over reigning champions Australia.

James Taylor's first ODI century helped England keep the series alive as they beat Australia by 93 runs in Manchester. Jason Roy scored a good 63 runs but the score of the day was from James Taylor who scored his first hundred for England which was a very proud moment for himself and the England team. Captain Eoin Morgan added a quick 62 as England make a decent total of 300-8. The highest wicket taker for Australia was Patt Cummings with stats of 2-50. This meant the Aussies needed 301 to win the game and the series.

Australia got off to a bad start being 13-1 down after 3 overs. Then Finch scored 53 before getting out in the 13 over the Aussie team collapsed with top order batsmen scoring under 30 runs. After Finch there was no good batsmen apart from Wade who scored 43 runs. Generally that was one of the worst innings that I have ever seen from Aussie team play in a long time. Eventually they collapsed and were bowled out for 207 and lost by 92 runs. The highest wicket taker for England was Moeen Ali with stats of 3-32.

Hope you enjoyed this post. from Hari!
