Hi sports fans, today i will be telling you about the most interesting,tense and money making tournament in Cricket...the IPL. The IPL (Indian Premier League) is a game loved by all Nations. This tournament originated In 2008 and was the first ever sporting event to have live streaming on youtube. The IPL is said to be worth17.2 billion US Dollars. Currently eight teams participate in the IPL they are called: Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangelore, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Dehli Dardevils. Last years winners were the KKR.
This year the Ipl got of too a flying start but not for the KXIP and Mumbai Indians. A few teams unexpectedly started perform like the DD who came last the previous year. Then the Mumbai Indians suddenly turned there game round after beating the Rajasthan Royals, also the Kings XI Punjab continued to play badly and ended up coming last. By the end of the qualifying stages only for teams could progress to the knockout rounds. They were: Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangelore and Rajastan Royals. This is the IPL so far.
