Poland, Wales and Portugal Through To The Last 8
Lasy night was definitely a series of unfortunate results for NIR, SWI and CRO. I will go in order of the games through out.

Poland were dominating the first half and then six minutes before half time Poland were awarded with a goal. After the half the Swiss started to play a bit more like themselves and got the goal they needed in the 82nd minute because of Shaqiri's wonder goal. No goals were scored so it was down to the spot kicks. Both teams scored there opening penalties but the there was an ultimate fluff up by Xhaka which lead to a Polish win, 5-4 on penalties.
The second match was between to home nations. Wales and Northern Ireland. You could tell there would be fireworks on the pitch and surprise surprise there was. The fans with also massive support. Before this tournament these teams were around 50th in the world. A game not worth watching as the last attendance between these two teams was only 529 people! This game however was round of 16 in a major tournament with over 45,000 people at the stadium. Northern Island dominated the first half with the Welsh having only one shot which ended up in the back of the neck but it was given offside. Then in the 75th minute Bale was pressing with a ball which was then whipped into the six yard box but a misread cross lead to an own goal for Wales by McAuley. Heart break for Northern Ireland. At he end of the game both teams shook hand swapped shirts and played with spirit. Welsh manager Chis Coleman said Wales were lucky and didn't deserve to win.

The Croatians were expected to win but an assist by Ronaldo in the 117th minute lead to a late Portuguese goal and destrought Croatians. There was no way back for them and they lost the game (AET). porugal with now play Poland in Lille on Thursday. Wales will either face Hungary or Belgium on Friday night again in Lille. Okay France will play Republic of Ireland, Germany will play Slovakia and then at 20:00 Belgium will face Hungary.
