Pats keep Hightower

The Patriots massive off-season continues. Earlier in free agency, the Patriots allowed their stud inside linebacker Dont'a Hightower test the free agent market to find a deal he liked. He either couldn't get the money he was looking for from certain teams, or did not want to go to a bad situation like the Jets. Whatever the case, the Patriots were able to resign him for what they wanted to sign him for, 4 years at $43.5 million with $19 million guaranteed, which comes out to less than what Hightower was looking for ($12 million a year). There isn't really much else to say here, as this is just the Pats being the Pats, making great move after great move. On top of all the big moves they've made on defense so far like acquiring Stephon Gilmore and Kony Ealy, they get to keep one of the best linebackers in the game to help the team try and repeat as Super Bowl Champions. And the crazy part is, there's probably more still to come.
