Some notes from the Atlantic Division;

-Red Wings forward Henrik Zetterberg expects to be ready for the upcoming season despite pulling out of the World Cup due to injury.

-Sabres goaltender Robin Lehner worked with an MMA specialist in the offseason to get in tip top shape for the season.

-The Tampa Bay Lightning still have yet to re-sign star forward and RFA Nikita Kucherov to a new contract and that will remain the same after the World Cup ends. The Lightning are still trying to get a deal done. However, it could run all the way up to the last minute before opening night in the NHL.

-There are rumors floating around that Habs coach Michel Therrien bashed forward and team captain Max Pacioretty, saying he's the worst captain in the NHL. If that's indeed true, it will only add to the mess that is the Montreal Canadiens, who have been involved in constant locker room drama this past offseason.
