?Here's the latest on some defense situations around the league:

-The New Jersey Devils have signed defenseman Kyle Quincey to a 1yr/$1.25MM contract. Quincey spent last season in a Red Wings uniform.

-After fielding interest from several teams, including the Flames and Senators, Dennis Seidenberg has decided to sign with the New York Islanders. He will report to New York following the World Cup.

-Teams without a doubt are going to have interest in Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba now that he is available, but the Jets are reportedly asking for a strong one-for-one swap.
