?The Anaheim Ducks and Hampus Lindholm have finally come to terms on a new contract, with the two sides agreeing to a new six-year contract extension that will pay the defenseman $31.5MM over the life of the new deal.

Lindholm had been holding out for a new deal despite the season starting, as he and the Ducks couldn't find common ground on a new contract. There were even trade rumors that had started to circulate around the young defenseman, but Anaheim never had any intentions to trade the young star despite rocky talks between the two sides.

Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba now remains the only restricted free agent without a contract, however his situation is somewhat different, as he is not only holding out, but he also is demanding a trade out of Winnipeg.
