NHL Notes; North America Jersey Sales, Shawn Horcoff, Stephane Robidas, Andrew Ference Retirements, Flames and Dennis Seidenberg, Red Wings and Dan Cleary

​​Notes from around the league; 

-In regards to jersey sales for the World Cup, Team North America leads all teams in jersey sales, throttling second place Canada. People really seem to be coming around to the new North America team. 

-Shawn Horcoff has retired and has joined the Detroit Red Wings front office in a player development role. 

-Even though it's not yet official, Stephane Robidas is reportedly set to retire. Robidas hasn't even played in the last 2 seasons due to a leg injury which will ultimately end his career. 

-Andrew Ference as well, has officially announced his retirement from the NHL. Ference won a cup with the Bruins back in 2011 and most recently played for the Oilers. 

-The Calgary Flames have expressed interest in signing free agent defenseman Dennis Seidenberg. 

-In an unpopular move for fans in Detroit, the Red Wings have signed forward Daniel Cleary to a PTO contract.
