Players to Watch: Malik Martin, Darnell Askew

The Curtis Warriors have a task at hand as they will be playing to defend their regular season title in the staten Island A division, but the warriors also have another goal in mind to reach the PSAL title game and win it. The warriors were very close to reaching the PSAL title game last season, but they fell short to eventual champion Abraham Lincoln in the final four.

The warriors will be led by 6-5 senior guard Malik Martin who currently holds eight offers from the likes of Rhode Island, Wagner, Towson, and Hofstra among others.

2017-18 Outlook:

Winning the Staten Island A division shouldn’t be much of a problem for Curtis, but they do have the SISHL and reaching the PSAL city title to focus on. Expect the Warriors to be in the thick of things once the playoffs come the Warriors have a tough non-conference schedule that will have them prepared once the playoffs start.
